Project Life Week Eleven

I was hoping to get this post up on Tuesday but we have had a sick three year old and a long weekend away and it just wasn't to be. I really enjoyed working on this spread but it took ages - well over two hours and it certainly doesn't look like it took that long!

The main events this week were two shows. The first was a school trip I went on with Scarlett's school to a theatre production of The Little Red Hen and the second was Disney on Ice Princesses and Heroes. The first spread is dominated by the latter. We had  a wonderful time at the show - much better than my husband and I expected.

The base of this page is the reverse of the Simple Stories paper from last week. I have added stickers and flair from Crate Paper, Studio Calico and Amy Tangerine along with my favourite enamel dots from MME. I also included a Studio Calico journalling card.

I kinda liked how the Simple Stories paper worked last week so I tried it again in a mustardy colour for the second half of the spread. I used a variety of labels and stickers including some Dear Lizzy paper, an October Afternoon label that was perfect for The Little Red Hen, more C rate Paper and some Amy Tangerine.

The second half of the spread was devoted to the more mundane things this week. Miss Three loves to wash the car so we included that. She has been working hard to be able to balance along a narrow kerb in our car park and we played beauty parlours one afternoon complete with cucumber for our eyes.

I am so pleased I remembered to include a ticket from our Disney show. I suspect I will find the price interesting in future.

This is my favourite pocket this week. The photo is nothing special but Scarlett is in love with her princess goblet and I am in love with MME dots so this expresses the situation perfectly in my eyes.

Happy hump day!

  2. Love your spreads! Your daughter is just so adorable. Good to know that the Disney on ice is worth it.
